Well, my mom first heard the name "Kaitlin" on that show.
And now my name is Kaitlin.
So I guess, in a roundabout way, I'm named after a character in 'Miami Vice' who has a thing with Don Johnson.
Could be worse. ;)

Awesome. My mother used to watch Fresh Prince when she was pregnant with me. She says there was a character named Gia on it at one point, but this in no way influenced her to name me as such.
I'm not sure if I believe that or not.
Interesting ...
I think my Mum just liked the name "Joshua." She likes the biblical names.
Both the names, Katie and Gia are two of the best names in the world! :)
